Dr. Landers joined Watson Eye Associates in
August of 2008. He is a retina specialist and professor of Opthalmology at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
Dr. Landers received his MD degree from the University of Michigan
in 1963, and completed his residency at UCLA in 1967. He then
entered the US Army Office of the Surgeon General and established
the Army's first laser safety research laboratory in Philadelphia.
Dr. Landers's clinical interests include age-related macular
degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases
and uveitis.
